Bubble Brothers has been part of the English Market since September 2000. The neat, well-stocked shop, which is just yards from the Grand Parade, offers a wide range of wines, both still and sparkling – the perfect complement to the astonishing variety of foods on offer.
We ourselves import nearly all the wines we sell, most of which are exclusive to us in Ireland. This means we’re very familiar with the story of each estate and, most importantly for our customers, with the contents of the bottles on our shelves. Our personal experience of the wines means that we can offer enthusiastic, genuine recommendations and advice to new and established customers alike, who often return to us with their own opinions and help us to develop and refine our list from season to season. In acknowledgement, we offer a loyalty card to regular customers, giving discount on normal shop prices.
Although we do keep a selection of more expensive and prestigious bottles as gifts or for special occasions, one of the pleasures of our shop is the choice of interesting and different wines at modest prices. The numerous overseas visitors to the Market are often pleasantly surprised to find a local speciality from their own part of the world.
Whether it’s a bottle of really good champagne or a straightforward accompaniment to a weekday meal, we aim to provide just what you’re looking for – and any number of good reasons to return!
