How LocalMarkets.ie Works
There are two options for joining Localmarkets.ie; as an Individual Producer, a Farmers' Market or Local Restaurant, or by opening your own Producer Shop. Individual Producers, Farmers' Markets or Local Restaurants have their profile and contact details listed in our Producer Directory and Producer Map for free straight away; however our Producer Shops are subject to an application process. Every seller on LocalMarkets.ie must be registered with their local Environmental Health Officer and be HACCP Certified.

How it works
Your own online store
When you sign up and are accepted as a LocalMarkets.ie seller, you’ll get your own easy-to-use online store where you can manage your products and your sales on your computer or mobile phone.
Selling a product
LocalMarkets.ie provides a platform for your produce to reach unique customers from all over Ireland and Northern Ireland and they come from all walks of life. They all have one thing in common – they love food, so do we, and so do you.
They can purchase your products directly from you using the secure LocalMarkets.ie checkout with Visa, Laser and Mastercard. Every time a payment is processed and approved, you will receive an email detailing the order. For Cork City based producers we offer a service of picking up orders or for producers dropping them to our collection depot. All sellers are given 48hrs to prepare your order for collection or shipping. For Producers outside of this area you must deliver the order yourself in an honourable and safe way on the date the customer chooses. We will issue you guidelines to you if you are accepted to sell.
You will be paid on the same day every month for orders you have made minus commission to a bank account you provide us with.
Shipping an Item
When you receive an order and the payment has been approved you must ship your goods to your customer if you are outside of our Cork City collection area or drop the order to a designated collection point. For Cork based producers we ship for you and we will be offering this service as we expand to other counties.
