Pure Sushi….eat like a local
Pure Sushi was established by Máire Carney and Madeleine Murray in 2010. We are a home-grown food company working out of our kitchen in the beautiful town of Kinsale. We specialise in sushi but also create delicious Asian soups, mains, and other canapés.
While we strive to use local, organic, wholesome produce and the freshest fish to make classic sushi recipes, we also use local ingredients such as black pudding or smoked duck and chicken to create an Irish version of sushi. It adds an interesting twist to our menu and works well with the Irish palate. The result is an eclectic mix of the familiar and exotic. It allows otherwise cautious eaters to experiment with tastes they traditionally love.
We believe our sushi has a tangible Irish twist that people relate to in our interesting recipe creations.
Currently, we sell at Kinsale Farmers Market (Wednesday) and Mahon Point Famers Market (Thursday). This is where we get to know our customers, learn their taste preferences and earn their trust. We can source magnificent ingredients at markets and believe our sushi acts as the ultimate platform for their display.
We can create platters to suit your party, purse and palate and feel our food is ideal for house parties, family events, business meetings and corporate entertaining. We firmly believe our food acts as the ultimate conversation starter at any occasion, big or small.
