Both localmarkets.ie and our payment processors comply with the strict joint security standard from Visa and MasterCard, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This standard has very strict and detailed requirements to everything from the physical locks on our server rooms to the encryption on the pages where credit card information is entered.
The 12 key requirements are:
